This will be an opportunity for families and adventurers of all ages to get together for some summer fun!
I currently have three neighboring campsites reserved in William O’Brien State Park (group sites were unavailable). State parks allow 6 people & 2 tents per site, so we may buddy up smaller groups to get the most out of those sites. As of posting this trip, there are several more sites available if families want to book their own and be guaranteed their own space (I have sites 123, 124, 125 in the Savanna Campground).
As a part of the weekend, I am also leading day trips to rock climb in Interstate State Park and to paddle on the St. Croix in William O’Brien State Park. You would be welcome to attend those day activities, or to hang out in the campground for the day. I will be climbing on Friday afternoon and paddling during the day on Saturday. These activities will be geared towards families and kids!
Outside of climbing and paddling, our time at camp is open to do as you please. I won’t plan for anything specific, but will keep some games and activities in my back pocket just in case. I also encourage you to bring your own activities and lawn games as well!
To register for this trip, please fill out THIS FORM. You must register no later than Monday, July 27th, so that I can cancel unneeded sites before the cancellation period closes.
Since children cannot be official Rovers members, you must fill out a waiver for each separate child attending. For an overnight trip with kids, you will have to download the waiver form at the bottom of the page HERE and email it to me. You will not be considered registered for the trip until you have filled out the registration form AND emailed me the waiver.
