Come and help us explore Lake Elmo Regional Park! We’ll do a morning hike (for the earlier risers) and an afternoon hike (for the folks who like a more leisurely start to their Sunday).
We’ll meet at the Nordic Center and plan to be hitting the trails by 10:30 a.m. We’ll hike for an hour and a half (maybe 5 miles?) and then end up back at the Nordic Center for lunch around noon. (Note: We may end up eating outside if we can’t eat inside the Nordic Center.) And then at 1:00, we’ll head back out for another 90-minute hike. (Remember to set your clocks back an hour. Otherwise, you’ll be very early!)
Bring water/coffee/hot chocolate and a snack and dress for the weather and to hike. Bring lunch if you plan to join us for lunch.
Here’s a link to the map, in case you’re not familiar with this 2,000+ acre park! There are lots of trails to choose from!
This Washington County Park will require a vehicle permit ($7.00 for the day/$30.00 annual).
Per Minnesota Rovers COVID-19 Policy, all participants must register with the coordinators and limit is 25 people, so let us know that you’re coming! Masks will be required when a 6 foot distance is not possible. With the State’s numbers going up, let’s do what we can to minimize the spread and keep our friends and families safe.
