- Max Trip Size: 25 people
We’re heading back out west! Baker Park Reserve has almost 20 miles of hiking trails! Get those hiking boots out and join us to hike around Lake Katrina, approximately 6 miles. If there is time and interest, we can explore some additional trails.
Be at the Trail Access Parking off of Baker Park Road at 1660 Baker Park Road, Maple Plain, MN ready to hike by 10:30 a.m. If you are coming from the Twin Cities, you will probably be heading west on Highway 12. Turn north on Baker Park Road near Maple Plain and continue for approximately 0.3 mile to the Trail Access Parking Lot. There will be a “Trail Access Parking” sign marking the entrance. (Be sure to allow enough time to get there. Maple Plain is about 20 miles west of Minneapolis. If you need help with directions, contact us.)
We’ll start hiking at 10:30. We’ll hike at a moderate pace, and it will probably take us about two hours. We’ll plan to finish around 12:30. Possibility of continued socializing at a nearby restaurant. Let us know when you RSVP if you may want to join us after the hike.
Bring water/coffee/hot chocolate and a snack and dress for the weather and to hike.
Per Minnesota Rovers COVID-19 Policy, all participants must register with the coordinators and limit is 25 people, so let us know that you’re coming! Masks will be required when a 6 foot distance is not possible. With the State’s numbers going up, let’s do what we can to minimize the spread and keep our friends and families safe.
