After flying to Zagreb and touring that town for a couple days, we’ll rent a car to journey to visit the beautiful Plitvice and Krka national parks. We’ll stay overnight in each place one day, then journey on to Trogir and Split. We’ll hop a ferry at Split and visit the island of Korcula before returning to Split and traveling on to Dubrovnik. We may catch a ferry to visit the national park on Mljet. We’ll return to Dubrovnik for a day before returning to Zagreb for the flight home.
Activities include hiking in the parks, possibly biking and spending time sightseeing in the towns on the Dalmatian coast, swimming in the Adriatic, enjoying fine food and taking in the local Croatian culture.
We estimate the cost to be $3500+/-, including air fare, shared lodging, rental car expenses, meals and park entrance fees.
We’re looking for a fourth person to fill out the trip. If more than one person responds, they’ll be placed on a waiting list. If several people are interested, we’ll share our info in hopes they may form another independent group for their own trip.
Bruce will stay on in Croatia for another nine days of travel using public transportation through the towns in the Istria peninsula + a side trip to Slovenia, before flying home from Zagreb. Perhaps 1-2 others will care to rendezvous with me for this trip. If so, contact me for details.
