- Max Trip Size: 8 people
Let’s plan on doing a 6.0 mile (9.7 km) hike in Lebanon Hills Regional Park Sunday morning starting promptly at 8:30 am from the Holland Lake trail head parking lot. We’ll figure on a 3-mile/hour pace or better which, if it doesn’t sound “brisk” enough for you, realize that the route is designed to go up and down hills—they don’t call it Lebanon Hills for nothing–with well over 300 feet of “up”. Think about bringing water and a snack. Also mosquito repellant.
There is water and bathrooms at the start, and at mile 3.75 (km 6.0) of our hike, when we reach the Visitor Center at Schulze Lake. Please meet at the Holland Lake trail head parking lot, entered at the end of Lexington Avenue off Cliff Road. Plan to be there on time! (Your trip leader will accept all calls asking for directions up until 8:15 am.)
Please email me if you’re planning to come. And if you’re not a Rover, please sign the release below. All dogs on a leash (and with their own water bowls?) are welcome.
