In honor of Earth Day, join your fellow eco-Rovers in collecting trash that has accumulated over winter at the Old Cedar Avenue access of Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. This is one of the premier hiking and birding spots in the metro! Space is limited to 15. Gloves and trash grabbers are available if you don’t have your own. Meet at 10:00 am at the Old Cedar Ave shelter: 9551 Old Cedar Ave S, Bloomington.
We will work from 10:00 – 12:00. Afterward, there are several lunch options nearby or bring a bag lunch and picnic at the shelter. Watch for other conservation project opportunities at this beautiful site throughout the year. Please email SuzTrapp@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
Note: This activity is not conducive to including dogs, so please leave your fur friends at home.
