Rovers Ride RAGBRAI!
Live the legend! Jubilation, camaraderie, sweat and gears make memories of a lifetime. The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) may never be more accessible. This years ride is a relatively short, gentle route. Plus, we will have all of the benefits of traveling and camping with Team Loon (coach bus, bike trailer, daily gear transportation, showers, tenting sites). Imagine Looner Rovers across Iowa!
Half a RAGBRAI may also be possible, ask for details.
This year’s 7 day ride will cover 406 miles, the second shortest ever (longest was 550 miles in 1985). This year’s route will include 10,487 feet of climb, the 6th flattest in 52 years (the most climb was 26,374 feet in 1981). Iowa is not flat.
If you are interested, or curious, please call or text me at 651-647-1452. Or, email me at [email protected]. I also encourage you to learn more about the event at RAGBRAI.COM.
This trip will cost approximately 700.00 plus food costs. I spent about 600.00 on food and beer last year, but I tend to live large.
Warning: RAGBRAI Registration cost bumps up an additional 25.00 on Mar 1, and again on April 1 and May 1.
