Join me next Tuesday morning for a guided 4 – 5 mile bike ride along the Mississippi River Trail with a National Park Ranger. This is a co-hosted event between the City of Hastings& the Mississippi River National Recreation Area. (AKA: MISS)
This section of the Mississippi River Trail is part of the Mississippi National River& Recreation Area—a National Park that stretches for 72 miles along the Mississippi river throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area.
Let’s meet& be ready to ride at 9:45 AM at the Rotary Pavilion in Levee Park in downtown Hastings. I will have a bright pink bike helmet w/ a brown MN Rovers bandana attached so you can spot me before the ride.
Here is the description from the Facebook event:
A Park Ranger will lead the 4 mile bike ride along the Mississippi River Trail for a morning of scenic biking along the riverfront; while learning fun facts about the Mississippi river!

The guided ride lasts one hour. After that, we can determine as a group if we want to bike further along the Mississippi River Trail.
This is a family-friendly, beginner friendly day trip and MN Rovers membership is not required. Please let me know if you will join me, so I can look for you.
Bring water, helmet& snacks. Eating at a local restaurant after our ride is an option.
