MN Nordic Ski Opener — Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove, MN

Embrace winter by celebrating cross-country skiing at the Minnesota Nordic Ski Opener on Saturday, December 10!!  Skiers of all abilities and ages are invited to kick off winter with free skiing, free ski rental equipment, and free mini lessons.  Participate in the Ski Tour with routes for the whole family, and check out the Nordic Market with representatives from 50 Nordic ski suppliers, resorts, retails and clubs (including the MN Rovers!). The event is hosted by Three Rivers Park District and located at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove.

We’re looking for volunteers to staff the MN Rovers booth and help spread the word about how much fun it is to play outside in the snow with us. There are one-hour shifts available from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Here’s the volunteer sign-up roster.
