Let’s hike again much of the Voyageur Trek Trail at Lebanon Hills THIS Sunday starting at 12:00 Noon Sharp, this time (as we did on January 11th) leaving from the front of the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center at Schulze Lake (the parking lot is a short drive off a turn south off Cliff Road ). We’ll make our way out to the Northern part, then circle around while passing Schulze Lake, Cattail Pond, O’Brian Lake, Dakota Lake, Beaver Pond, Bridge Pond, Lily Pond, and Portage Lake, before returning by Schulze Lake to the Visitor Center. This hike should be around 4.5 miles. The pace will be whatever the group dictates, but let’s keep it reasonably casual so say 3+ mph. I/we may be looking for birds, so consider bringing binoculars, water, goodies, and whatever. And plan on enjoying our “Wilderness in the City”.
Please get there on time and allow for the fact that the Visitor Center is a bit of a slow drive off Cliff Road. Bathrooms are available at the Visitor Center.
All dogs on leashes are welcome. Please text or email me if you’re planning to come, whether you’re a member or not. IN ADDITION, if you’re not a Rover, please sign the release below.
