Mountain Bike Ride/Race in NW Wisconsin

Description:

The Cable Area Off Road Classic consists of two courses, an 20-mile and a 25 mile point-to-point mountain bike ride/race in and around the Chequamegon National Forest, Sawyer and Bayfield County Forests including some of the famous nationally recognized CAMBA trails, the Best in the Midwest & the Cable Area of Northern Wisconsin. Leave Friday afternoon getting to Cable in time for bib pickup and carb loading at the spaghetti feed. Race starts at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, have a beer at the end, then relax the rest of the day. On Sunday we’ll ride some of the other CAMBA trails before heading home. Estimated cost: $40 + food/gas. Deposit: event entry. Max trip size: 12.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
