Category: Bicycling, Summer Trips, Camping

Sun - MonJul 19 - Jul 272015
  • Estimated Cost: $250
  • Deposit: $20
  • Max Trip Size: 8 people
Description:

We’ll bike about 325 miles in 7 days from St. Paul to Galena, IL, the #10 Charming Small Town in America. Our route follows the Mississippi bluffs through Wisconsin and camping by the river every night, with the option to stay at a B& B the final 2 nights in Galena. You’ll get in great shape pedaling a fully-loaded bike up challenging hills and taking breaks in scenic river towns. We’ll return via one-way car rental and UHaul truck on Sunday, July 26th.
I’ll do a longer trip in October, biking 600 miles in 10 days to Quincy, IL.
