Come join us at River Bend Nature Center for a nature hike to learn about the trees, watch for birds, and get some exercise. We will hike at a moderate pace and aim to do 5 miles in two hours. The nature center encompasses 743 acres cradling the Straight River. The River, forests, wetlands, and prairies provide great wildlife habitat and a wonderful place to visit and enjoy. Living in Faribault, this is my main sanity place and I know it well. There is no fee to visit the park.
Optional: After our hike we will visit the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault and view the art exhibits for 30-60 minutes. It is free to enter. More info on what is being exhibited is here: https://www.paradisecenterforthearts.org/visual-arts
