Description:

Nugget Lake County Park is a gem on the rim of Wisconsin’s driftless area, just over an hour’s drive away. We’ll camp here and bike loops of up to 60 miles through bluff and coulee country to historic waysides, UFO sites, Lake Pepin, and a 50 mph hill! Wide tires needed to take the shortcut on a Rustic Road with 4 water crossings. We have reserved two adjacent campsites (#18 & 19) and a camper cabin (#17) close to the shower building. We’ll provide meals. $5/day vehicle permit. |previous trip report|
