Hike across the newly refurbished Old Cedar Avenue Bridge over the Minnesota River and wetland. This bridge has been closed for about 14 years and it has just reopened. We’ll meet at 12:30 PM and hike for an hour or two. Meet at the parking lot under the 77 bridge on the southeast side of the Minnesota River.
From the cities take 77 south and take the second exit to Highway 13 north. Take the next left on Silver Bell Road and then a right on Nicols Road. This turns into Black Dog Road. The parking lot will be on the right at the end of the road. You will need a state park sticker to park in the lot otherwise just park on the road. If you have any trouble finding the place call me. Well behaved dogs welcome.
