PaddleQuest Dynasty

Sat, 5:00amMay 212011
  • Estimated Cost: $23
Description:

PaddleQuest Dynasty has come to Minneapolis and the quest will be down the Minnehaha Creek. A canoe/kayak quest with teams, characters and challenges. Proceeds go to The Boys & Girls Club and we help spring clean-up the Minnehaha Creek.

The Story: Wizard Kulku needs new allies and you can help! Along the way discover new forces and a sacred artifact. Follow the kayak heroes along a course, seeking treasures and completing challenges at the checkpoints. Questers can register as a team or as a solo paddler. Teams will paddle 14 miles down river departing from Isaak Walton Creekside Park to Lake Nokomis along the beautiful Minnehaha Creek. (Kayak paddling recommended) A ceremony will follow at the Cardinal Bar, Minneapolis with treasures, stamp books and magic items. Start a team or 2 or 3 or go solo!

Register before May 1 for discounted registration. Visit the PaddleQuest Dynasty website to register, download a route map, sign up for email event updates, and see more details. Estimated cost: $23 – $48 depending on team.
