This will be associated with the Rovers 70th anniversary, but you need not attend that to come. The moon will be waxing, a few days from full. Moonrise is at 6:52, but sunset is not until 8:12. Meet at the Bush Lake boat launch at 7 and we will have an enjoyable paddle under the moon. You can be at the 70th and camp or not. You can meet up with people at the group area and eat, or not. We will probably paddle until about 9:30, easy paddling around the lake to experience paddling under the moonlight. Bring a headlamp and water, and a snack. This will be very leisurely. When we are done, you may want to join Suresh at the campsite for stargazing.
You can check out a kayak or canoe at the equipment locker, or bring your own. Paddleboards are also welcome.
