Paddling on the Cannon River

Sat, 5:00amJun 22012
  • Max Trip Size: 20 people
Description:

We will paddle the Cannon River about 13 miles, putting in at Faribault and taking out at Dundas. This is not a beginner trip. Participants must have prior river experience and have their own boat and/or paddling partner. The river portion of the canoe trip will take about 3–5 hours depending on how often people stop along the way. Plan on a full day, leaving the cities before 9:15 a.m. and getting off the river late afternoon. This is a beautiful section of the river. We generally see eagles and eat lunch on a bluff overlooking the river. Socializing/eating afterwards at a restaurant in Dundas.

To RSVP and receive additional information, please contact the trip coordinator. Indicate your name, phone number, cell number if applicable, type of boat, paddling partner if applicable. Further details regarding departure time, carpooling, etc. will be communicated to participants closer to the trip date.

Estimated cost: $0. Max trip size: 20 boats
