Return of the Recyclist Bike

Sun, 5:00amJul 242011
  • Max Trip Size: 15 people
Description:

After 2 years of traveling the world by bike, David Bryne and Julie Retka are returning home to St. Paul July 24. Through their website, they’ve shared their epic adventures and great photographs with us. Let’s give them a warm Rover’s welcome and a bicycle honor guard escort to the State Capitol. After all, they met on a Rover’s bike trip.

The plan is to meet up with them for lunch at the Gasthaus Barvarian Hunter restaurant at 2:00 p.m. Then, from there bike to the Capitol following lunch. Let me know if you’d like to be included in the reservation count. If you’d like to bike to the Gasthaus and back, meet up at 12:30 p.m. at the K-Mart parking lot, 245 Maryland Ave E, St Paul (Northwest of the intersection of 35E and Maryland Ave)- an approximate 35-mile round trip. Remember your helmet and water bottle. Estimated cost: lunch/refreshment money. Max trip size: 15.
