Let’s take a road trip to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN, for their annual Soar with the Eagles event featuring a live birds of prey show and afterward stop at either at Frontenac State Park or He Mni Can-Barn Bluff to hike. After hiking, we’ll stop in Red Wing for food and drink before returning home, so plan on being gone a full day.
To purchase your event and admission ticket, click the “Admission and Flying Bird Show” button on the event page. Then click “Other dates”, choose Saturday, March 23, and enter your ticket quantity for “Adult: Admission + Program”. Make sure the 11:00-11:45 am time slot is shown on the page next to “SOAR Feature Program”. You should end up with an emailed ticket for $12 admission and $3 Wings to Soar program.
Unlike last year, the program appears to be indoors in an auditorium this year.
Drive time may be up to two hours from the Twin Cities depending on your starting location. I can help arrange carpooling if you provide your location when you email me to sign up.
Pack a lunch/snacks – we’ll munch on that sometime between the bird show and hiking.
If you are not a member of Minnesota Rovers, you must complete the waiver form below this posting.
