Sail the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior — Superior (Port Superior), WI

Description:

Meet at the marina in Port Superior, Wisconsin on Thursday, the 27th so we can go sailing east to the Apostle Islands; around noon we will anchor the boat to have lunch and if you are daring to try the cold water, maybe go swimming. We will share food and decide whether everyone. Dinner will also be on the boat at a time to be determined.

should bring something or if we should buy food together. It will be a 42’ sloop. Bring towels, bathing suit, sunscreen, hat, and anything else needed if it rains. Life jackets are on the boat.

You do not have to know how to swim to participate. We will head in at 3 PM on Sunday.

Contact the coordinator about where in the marina to meet and what boat we’ll be using.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
