Description:
This year the Fourth of July falls on a Thursday, and we have reserved the Bass Creek group camp site at Lake Bemidji State Park for three nights. Exercise your independence and plan on joining us!
Lake Bemidji SP has a sandy swimming beach and canoe and kayak rentals for water lovers.  Steps away from our camp is miles and miles of biking on the Paul Bunyan state bike trail and a 17-mile loop around Lake Bemidji.  There are 11 miles of hiking and a bog walk in the park.  The town of Bemidji has an annual fireworks celebration on the Fourth, not to mention the statues of Paul and Babe and a sculpture walk.
A potluck is planned for Friday evening, with the rest of the meals on your own.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
