Depending on the weather, we’ll drive up to Hayward either Friday after work or Saturday morning and get the fire going, then play in the snow.

Saturday’s ski options include:

  • The North End trails in Cable
  • The south end of the Birkie trail (Hatchery Creek Park) in Hayward
  • Seeley Ski trails
  • Mukwonago trails
  • Seeley Hills Classic ski race

Sunday we’ll be participating in the Birkie Tour. The Tour is a lot of fun and a great way to experience the wonderful Birkie Trail system.

If skiing isn’t your thing, there are groomed fat bike trails as well as plenty of places to snowshoe.

Accommodations: Camping or a bunk in a rustic cabin. No running water; to clean up after a long day of skiing, we’ll pay for a shower at a hotel and eat dinner at a local restaurant.

Food: Breakfast (steel cut oats & fixin’s) and coffee provided, bring your own lunch, snacks, beverages, and money for dinner out.

Estimated cost: $20 + Birkie Tour registration and / or other trail fees
