Description:

Come snowshoe by daylight and candle light in Mille Lacs! We will leave at 7:00 a.m. on the morning of the 27th from the parking lot across from REI in Roseville. We will be staying one night at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. Dinner will be at restaurants in Mille Lacs – the casino itself has four restaurants ranging from casual to fancy. Bring your own snacks for during the day. Activities will include snowshoeing in Mille Lacs and the candlelit snowshoe in the park on the evening of the 27th. Depending on interest we may stop at historical society site of the Mille Lacs Ojibwe Museum and General Store on Saturday or the Sandstone Nat. Wildlife Refuge on Sunday. And of course, the casino if that’s your style. Cost will be between $25-$35 a person,depending on whether there are two or three people per room, not including meals and gas. Deposit is $10. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
