Description:

This is Rovers’ spring “welcome& check us out trip” for everybody who likes the outdoors and wants to know what Rovers is all about even before becoming a member. It will take place at beautiful Banning State Park. (Note that the group camp site is close by at Willow River Group Camp in General Andrews State Forest tucked along Zalesky Lake.)

You’ll be able to experience that we accommodate all skill levels from beginners to advanced to extreme and any activity that involves appreciating the outdoors, physical workouts, nature, travel and the best camaraderie you can find anywhere!

Our program typically includes hiking, biking, paddling, climbing etc. Don’t worry if you don’t have all the gear for camping or activities yet we’ll bring it along from the Rovers “Cage” for you to use for free. There are discounts to cover the cost of the weekend for certain volunteer opportunities.For more details please check our Info Sheet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
