Description:

Registration for the Extravaganza has begun! The event runs from Friday late afternoon until Sunday afternoon and will be held at Wild River State Park on the St. Croix River near North Branch. The Extravaganza is an opportunity for non-members or newer members to learn more about the club, along with seasoned MN Rover members! There will be organized activities for all levels of participation, from beginner to experienced. This event happens in the spring and fall and is the only overnight trip that you do not need to be a Rovers member to attend.

There are many options for the weekend – choose what works for your schedule. There are two nights of camping, Friday and Saturday nights, Saturday group dinner and Sunday breakfast. Registration process and cost are listed below. Fri dinner,Saturday breakfast and lunches are on your own.

There will be organized activities like hiking, biking, paddling, rock climbing, birding& mushroom hike and the list goes on. If you are one of those experienced or seasoned members of the club, we are looking for volunteers to organize these activities. If there is an activity that you would like to share your passion for, please let either of us know.

We are also looking for a couple of people to organize Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast. So if preparing meals for large numbers of people is your passion, this is your opportunity to be creative and show what you can serve for meals without the use of electricity and over a camp stove. There will be people that will help you prepare the food so you won’t be doing it solo!

Cost:
$20.00 Friday and Saturday camping. Saturday dinner& Sunday breakfast& any activities.
$15.00 Saturday camping. Saturday dinner& Sunday breakfast& any activities
$8.00 Saturday dinner only. No overnight camping& any activities.
Special kids rates. Please contact us for cost.
Free! Come for an activity or 2 (hike, bike, paddle, rock climb, etc)

Watch this page for any updates. For those who have registered and paid for the event, information will also be emailed to you, as well as contacts for organizing your own carpooling if interested.

You can register at a weekly Tuesday meeting or by contacting Shelly. Mailing instructions will be sent to you as well as a link to a google doc that will contain registration information.
