Let’s plan on doing a 4.7 mile hike in Lebanon Hills Regional Park Sunday starting promptly at 9:00 am from the Holland Lake trail head parking lot. We’ll both do a good brisk hike while circling several lakes and ponds, up and down, using much of the Northern and Southern Voyageur Trek trails, and also stop, look and listen for the various birds that have started to arrive in the Park, so think about bringing binoculars and your Merlin app. Our earlier start time, cooler temp, and recent lack of precipitation will make for very little if any slippery hiking conditions—possibly for the last time for a month or more. (My preview of the route this morning rates mud on the trail as 98% firmed up, 2% slippery.)
Meet at the Holland Lake trail head parking lot, entered at the end of Lexington Avenue off Cliff Road. Plan to be there on time!
Please email me if you’re planning to come. And if you’re not a Rover, please sign the release below. All dogs on a leash are welcome.
