Pack up your outdoor toys, a chair, and a cooler and get ready to make the trek all the way to the NW ’burbs to have some fun! Join us for biking, hiking, inline skating, swimming, picnic, etc. at Elm Creek Park Reserve.
For those interested in other activities, meet at the park for shorter bike rides, inline skating, hiking, volleyball, swimming, disc golf.
We can’t be everywhere at once, so we need people to help coordinate these other activities — just let us know what, when, and where and we’ll add it to the list. BAM, you’ve got fellow Rovers to play with outside!
Elm Creek Park Reserve has 20 miles of paved trails that also connect to Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park via the Rush Creek Regional Trail (7 miles) or Fish Lake Regional Park on the Medicine Lake Regional Trail. There are also over 30 miles of turf hiking trails a 14-mile mountain bike trail system, plus the Eastman Nature Center.
Don’t forget swimwear! There’s a man-made, chlorinated, and filtered swimming pond ($5 fee) with sand beach in the park. For the kiddos, there’s a nice playground at the recreation area as well.
