Let’s enjoy today’s sunset over Johnny Lake after hiking approx. 3 miles around this gem of a county park. We’ll amble (slow to mod pace) along paved and multi-use trails of this 211 acre park with it’s gently rolling hills, numerous wetlands, hardwoods, open fields and spruce grove. Springvale’s abundant wildflowers should be in full bloom, and we’ll catch some fun bird and critter activity along the shores of it’s picturesque lake as we sit a spell to watch the sun go down-a great way to end another day.
We’ll meet at 7 pm at the paved parking area at the entrance to the park on Hwy 95.
Insect repellent may be a good idea to bring.
Well-behaved dogs on leashes welcome.
