“Take a Day Off” Day at Stearns County Mississippi River Park

Sat, 5:00amAug 142010
Description:

Show kids how much fun the outdoors is! The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is hosting a day of Outdoor Family Fun from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 14, and they have asked the Rovers to help. The park will be buzzing with fun activities such as learning how to fish and cast, paddling, geocaching, a laser shooting range, archery, hiking, building a bird house, and more. Sign up for a 2-hour shift – and then enjoy the park afterward.

Stearns County Mississippi River Park is located at 41300 County Rd. 1, Rice, MN 56367. It is 6 miles north of Sartell on CSAH 1. Contact Stacey G. if you are able to help. Estimated cost: $0.
