Town Hall Conversation

Tue, 5:00amOct 302012
Description:

In response to feedback and discussions regarding the “U45” initiative (Under 45 … an experiment meant to attract and retain younger members), the Minnesota Rovers will host a “town hall” conversation with members that will focus on the question “How can we attract a wide variety of members and make everyone feel welcome?”

The Town Hall conversation will be facilitated by Barb Krantz Taylor and Christy James, both of whom are professional facilitators.

Date: Tuesday, October 30
Time: 7:45 p.m. (following the general opening)
Place: Macalester College, Room 350 (the normal meeting location)

At the town hall meeting, a short time will be allocated for members to share their thoughts/opinions about U45 and then Barb and Christy will facilitate a conversation focusing on the question “How can we attract a wide variety of members and make everyone feel welcome?” Feedback from the town hall conversation will be used by the board to determine other strategies for recruiting a wide variety of members.

Your voice and input is important. Please join us for the conversation and share your thoughts on how to keep Minnesota Rovers an active and vibrant organization! A history of the U45 experiment can be found using this link.
