Category: Trail Maintenance

Fri - SunMay 13 - May 152022
  • Estimated Cost: $50
  • Deposit: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 8 people
Description:

The trip dates have not been set yet, it will be a weekend in May hopefully a 3 day weekend. Please let me know if you are interested and what dates work for you.

I do need at least one person on the trip to be certified in First Aid / CPR (NPS rules)

This trip will clear about 4.5 miles of the SHT, The first day we will be using a chain saw (I am certified by the USFS) to clear any large trees that are down, the next day or two we will be using hand tools to clear back brush form the treadway. We will probably be staying at Lamb’s Resort in tents b for two nights. Meals will be on your own, but in a group setting. The SHTA should furnish us with PPE such as hard hats and safety glasses, also some hand tools.

Coordinator(s):
