Trail maintenance and hiking on the Rover built Border Route Trail East end from the Superior Hiking Trail to the BWCA border line. Using both hand and power tools we will remove dead fall trees and cut brush along up to 13 miles of the famous Border Route Trail segment of the North County National Scenic Trail. this section includes the famous 270 degree overlook
Starting Friday or Saturday morning as your schedule permits. Join us for one two or three days of fun. Tent Camping available at the Otter Lake trailhead near your car. Due to COVID proticalls of the NPS and USFS we will not provide group food or transportation on this trip. Social distancing and a healthy dose of fresh air provided.
Bring outdoor gear for May 1 at the Canadian border. sturdy hiking boots, a day pack with rain gear, food and water and work gloves.
Border Route Trail will provide all tools, and safety gear.
