Description:

Make the trek for an AMAZING hiking experience at Lake Elmo Park Reserve in Lake Elmo, MN. The HIKE will be a 5.3 mile loop around Lake Margaret—Brown’s Pond& swinging past the southern portion of Lake Elmo. You will see Cranes..Deer..Turkey..various Songbirds& perhaps Raptors !! Several steep hills make this a moderately vigorous hike with magnificent scenery !!

Plan to meet at the NORDIC CENTER Parking Lot at 6:30pm on TUESDAY _ AUG.18th… No vehicle permit is required on this FREE Tuesday entrance day. Please bring mucho H2O..bug spray..wipes and a binoculars. Socializing TBD 2 miles away in Woodbury (lot’sa good restaurants) Hope to see many Rovers !!

Directions:

From I-94, EXIT at CTY RD 19. Follow CTY RD 19 to the NORTH for one mile to CTY RD 10. Cross CTY RD 10 and proceed into the park.

From I-694, EXIT at CTY RD 10 (10th Street North). Follow CTY RD 10 EAST for 2.6 miles. Turn left (NORTH) directly into the park.

Located at the intersection of CTY RD 19 (Keats Avenue North)& CTY RD 10 (10th Street North) in the City of Lake Elmo, Minnesota

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
