Upper St. Croix Day Paddle

Sat, 5:00amJul 242010
Description:

We are planning a full day trip, exploring a different section of the St. Croix. The put in place is at the boat access at the HWY 70 bridge on the Minnesota side. We will pull out at County “O” Landing on the Wisconsin side of the river. The length of the trip will be about 10 miles. Hopefully the weather will be nice and there will be an opportunity to swim, etc. We will meet at 8:15 a.m. at REI Roseville to carpool, hopefully reduce the number of cars, and caravan to the put in. Carpool will leave by 8:30 a.m. This is meant to be a full-day trip, with no set time for getting off the river. We will probably stop somewhere for a meal on the way home, not yet decided where. Let us know if you will be joining, so that we can send more trip information via e-mail. Please include your name, cell phone (for day of trip), type of boat, paddling partner if applicable.
