Join me for an Urban Hike around Lake of the Isles followed by tasty treats from Isles Bun & Coffee. They are know for their “Puppy Dog Tails”, but have lots of wonderful hot beverages and tasty treats.
Plan to meet outside Isles Bun & Coffee at 1424 West 28th Street. This is 3 blocks from Lake of the Isles. There is free parking on neighborhood streets or the parkway, or metered parking on the busier streets such as Hennepin.
We will first walk clockwise around Lake of the Isles (approximately 3 miles), and then afterwards go to Isles Bun & Coffee for treats and socializing. If there is interest, ice skating is also an option afterwards (although I am not an ice skater). There is a large skating area on the lake with a warming house.
