Picturesque limestone bluffs and deep ravines make Whitewater State Park a very popular southeastern Minnesota state park. Come join us for a day trip to this beautiful park, where we plan to hike a 6-mile loop going around the whole park with a total of 1200 ft of elevation gain and covering the best features of the park including Chimney Rock, and Inspiration Point! Please be prepared for a strenuous hike with this level of elevation change. Bring water and snacks for stops along the way.
After the hike, you are welcome to join us for a meal at Mill Valley Kitchen, 150 Broadway Ave S, Rochester.
A limited number of well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please contact me if you plan to bring a dog, so we don’t end up with too many.
Carpools are encouraged. I will facilitate that once I hear from interested participants. Please send me an email or text if you plan to come. I’ll give you the exact meeting location once I hear from you. Non-Rovers are encouraged! Please submit the online liability waiver below, and then email or text me to sign up.
