It’s that time of year again. Rovers have been helping with FB4K bike fix-up and giveaway for several seasons.
FB4K takes donated bikes, cleans and repairs them, and works with local organizations to give them away the end of Nov or beginning of Dec.
FUN – to volunteer with others to help a kid get a bike
EASY – if you can put air in your bike tires, you can help with these bikes!
REWARDING – to know you’re helping get a kid on a bike and a have a sense of adventure, freedom and independence!

Come join us for this 3-hour shift. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift. You will need to sign in on the computers in reception before you start working.
What to Wear: Expect to get dirty while you work to change lives with these bikes. You should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. You will be on your feet during your whole shift.
What to Bring: No locked storage for your personal items, so keep it light! You will want to keep valuables at home or on your person. DO bring a water bottle — and a snack if you want.
Where: 7839 Southtown Center, Bloomington.

Note: They are open 7 days a week — so if you are free other times, they could use as much help as possible!
