Wednesday Night Hike

Wednesday Night Hike

Wed, 5:00amJul 62011
Description:

On Wednesday we’ll be hiking at Snail Lake Regional Park in Shoreview where there are lots of beautiful wooded trails. Meet at 6 PM at the parking area close to the beach, distinct from the western parking area or the parking area by the boat launch. Directions/map

Snail Lake is at the bottom of the page. In lieu of an ice cream stop I suggest people bring a snack and beverage and socialize afterward on the beach while watching the sun sink. Bring your suit and go for a swim if it’s nice! For those ice screamers there is a DQ at Hodgsen Rd. and hwy 96. As always an evening hike in the woods means mosquitoes are possible so bring bug dope, a water bottle, and the aforementioned snack and beverage for post hike socializing. Estimated cost: 0. Deposit: 0. Max trip size: any.
