Weekend Camping / Hiking in Beaver Creek Valley State Park — Beaver Creek Valley State Park, MN

Category: Hiking, Camping, Other Summer Activities

Fri - SunAug 27 - Aug 292021
  • Estimated Cost: $50
  • Max Trip Size: 10 people
Description:
If anyone is interested, I am spending the weekend in Beaver Creek Valley State Park.
It’s a quite pretty, but smaller park with some very nice hiking along trout streams.
Super isolated, in the SE corner of the state. Nice stargazing – looks like good weather for that as well.
Park website : https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/park.html?id=spk00112#homepage
Google Maps : https://goo.gl/maps/pnTbB7gEAmdRRBBR6
I am probably just going to camp out and do a hike Fr / Sa
Other possible activities include trout fishing which I do not do.
Also, if anyone just wanted to hike there FR or SA, I could show you the park.
I am a bit unsure when I arrive Friday, but maybe around 4 pm at the latest ?
Food : bring yourself
Camp sites : I will be camping at site #40. I have also reserved a handful of drive-in campsites close to this campsite. Site rules are 1 tent and 6 people per site.
