Description:

The Root River is about 100 miles south of the Twin Cities. We will be canoeing about a 20 mile section of the river and will camp at a DNR riverside campsite. Leave the cities Friday evening after work and camp at a county park. Easy to moderate trip. Saturday evening and Sunday breakfast meals provided. Joint outing with the Sierra Club.
