Description:

Beginner winter camping trip to Frontenac State Park 10 miles south of Red Wing Minnesota. This trip is intended to introduce new campers to winter camping in the regular park campground which allows them to bring extra clothing /camping gear, enabling them to spend their first winter night out safely and comfortably. Participants can walk, snowshoe or ski park trail depending on snow conditions. Group Saturday night chill super and Dutch oven desert provided, you bring lunches and breakfast. The rover cage has camping gear you can check out. I can help you with equipment , gear choices and provide further details.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
