Experience Itasca State Park in the winter! There are 28 miles of cross-country ski trails (ranging from easy to difficult), and snowshoeing is allowed anywhere in the park. We will stay at a housekeeping cabin that the Itasca Biological Station (Univ. of MN) uses in warmer months. Cabin 13 (which holds 8) is modern with a full kitchen and bathroom, dishes, cookware, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. We need to bring linens and pillowcases. I have never stayed here, so this is sort of an exploratory trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
