- Max Trip Size: 12 people
Join us for a moderately paced hike around Fort Snelling State Park. This will be an initial 2.5-mile hike with a possible addition of a 3-mile hike for those that want to do it. The hike will start with the Snelling Lake Trail and then continue on the Pike Island Trail. The trails will be a mix of blacktop, grass, gravel and sand trails.
Meet IN the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center, which is all the way into the park at the end of the road. Please be on time and allow time for the slow drive all the way into the park.
To get there put “Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center, Fort Snelling State Trail, St Paul, MN 55111” into Google maps or use the directions: from Highway 5 north take Post Road opposite the airport and then Snelling Lake Road into the park and all the way to the end.
