Description:

Ring in the New Year in Canada! We’ve rented a house ~30 minutes from Canada’s largest network of daily groomed cross-country ski trails. There’s over 55 km of trails at SilverStar, varying in difficulty from Green to Blue to Black. A dual mountain cross-country ski pass will then allow us to explore an additional 50 km of connecting trails at Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre.

SilverStar is British Columbia’s 3rd largest ski resort, boasting over 3,282 acres of ski & snowboard terrain spread across 4 mountain faces with 132 runs and 12 gladed areas serviced by 10 lifts. SilverStar enjoys over 7 meters (23 FEET) of annual “champagne” powder snowfall. Skiers/snowboarders of all levels love the perfectly groomed runs and wide open spaces of Vance Creek.

Other activities:

  • 16 kilometers of snowshoe trails weaving in and around the forested area and lower cross-country trails.
  • More than 15 km of fat bike trails open for riders and a fleet of rental bikes available
  • Tubing, ice skating, sleigh rides, and more!

Leaving Friday morning 12/28, returning Sunday evening 1/6. Contact us for flight info, you’re also welcome to drive and meet us there.

Some meals/food costs will be shared (take turns making dinner). We will also be renting a car (or two) and will share rental and fuel costs.

Please note, the deposit is not refundable unless you find your own replacement(s).
