Annual Porcupine Mountains ski trip. We have the Kaug Wudjoo Lodge which sleep 12, but to be a little more comfortable we are only having 10 ppl this year. We can ski right from the lodge or drive 1/2 m or so to the downhill ski area to start XC skiing or downhill.
We will have a Ranger-guided snowshoe hike 1 day, Saturday night there will be a lantern-lit ski with hot cocoa, fire and treats at a halfway point.
Other things we’ve done in the past, downhill skiing, dance party at the house, snow angels. A couple people will plan, buy for, and make a meal each. Others will help with cleanup.
Guestimation of costs incl. – gas, car pass ($33), meals, lodging ($81), Thurs. dinner on the way up. We promote ridesharing (car will split gas & car pass)
