Description:

We will be hiking to the little Union River yurt and camping for two nights with day trips during the day. Depending on how much snow there is, we will either be skiing or hiking or snowshoeing on the trails in the Porcupine Mountains. If there’s a lot of snow then we have to hoof it three miles on snowshoes or skis to get to the yurt.

Meet at the visitor center at noon.

Everyone arranges their own transportation.

Everyone provides their own food.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
