Biking — Carlton, MN

Category: Bicycling

  • Max Trip Size: 8 people
Description:

I am planning to bike the Willard Munger Trail on Saturday August 12. I would like to do the section from Carlton to Duluth with a side trip to Jay Cooke State Park. This section is about 15 miles with a slightly downhill grade. We could bike out and back or shuttle cars to the end of the trail. I would like to meet at the trail head at 10:00. Plan to have lunch on the trail.

I am planning on this being a day trip but if people would prefer to spend the night I will try to find a campground. I have a small camper in Moose Lake that could accommodate a couple people and there are several campgrounds in that area.
