Category: Cross Country Skiing, Snowshoeing / Hiking, Winter Camping

Sat - SunMar 9 - Mar 102019
  • Estimated Cost: $20
  • Max Trip Size: 6 people
Description:

Weekend winter camping trip at the Mille Lacs Katio State Park campground. This campout is very suitable for beginner winter campers and those that are experienced are welcome too.

I can discuss clothing and equipment with you, the idea is to use what you have and use extra layers without spending money for new items. The Rovers have camping equipment and 2 winter camping bags that can be checked out from the equipment locker. Contact the equipment director or assistant to check any Rovers equipment out for this Rover trip.

There are plenty of ski and snowshoe trails also. I’ll provide Saturday supper of chili with a Dutch Oven dessert.

Cost will cover campsite, food and firewood.

Coordinator(s):
Basil L.
