It’s a celebration, and YOU are invited!
It’s National Volunteer Month, and we are celebrating our conservation volunteers! Did you participate in a Minnesota Rovers conservation trip in 2018? Maybe you pulled buckthorn, collected prairie seeds, helped with a Border Route Trail trail clearing, or hunted for oriental bittersweet. Or have you told yourself that “This year I’m getting more involved in conservation?”
If you volunteered in 2018 or hope to in 2019, please plan to attend the Conservation Volunteer Social on Sunday, April 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Rovers will provide meat, cheese, and buns for sandwiches, a veggie tray, cake, and a non-alcoholic beverage. You bring a side or other dish to share and an adult beverage (if you wish). You are welcome to bring your significant other or a friend along. Just be sure to mention them when you RSVP.
In addition to being a chance to mingle with Rovers friends, there will be some small giveaways and a drawing for a Three Rivers Park District annual pass. The address in Edina will be provided when you RSVP. Hope to see you there!
